    Europa respira con más facilidad. Según las observaciones de meteorólogos holandeses en ciudades europeas, ¡la pureza del aire casi se duplicó en marzo de 2020! El factor principal para la mejora es una suspensión significativa de la actividad humana asociada con restricciones epidemiológicas. Esta noticia positiva es una de las pocas en la serie de noticias que recibimos recientemente. La pandemia de coronavirus en el mundo está teniendo un grave impacto. Las grandes ciudades se están cerrando, los aviones no vuelan, las personas se quedan en sus hogares. La cuarentena no solo ha sacudido la economía global y el sector de la salud, sino que también tiene un impacto en la ecología del planeta. Algunos científicos incluso sugirieron que la pandemia de coronavirus salvará a millones de personas que mueren debido a la contaminación ambiental. En China la contaminación del aire disminuyó en un 25%. Debido a la cuarentena, el tráfico de automóviles se redujo drásticamente. Esto condujo a una fuerte reducción en las emisiones de contaminantes al aire. Noticias similares provienen de la India, donde después de la introducción de la cuarentena, el smog se disipó y la gente, por primera vez en muchos años, pudo ver el Himalaya.  El nivel más alto de limpieza ambiental se observa actualmente en Venecia. Después de la introducción de la cuarentena en Italia, el agua en los famosos canales venecianos se volvió transparente, aparecieron cisnes que los venecianos no habían visto en mucho tiempo. También en las aguas de los canales aparecieron patos, peces e incluso delfines. Este es el resultado de detener el flujo de turistas y el uso de lanchas a motor en los canales de la ciudad debido a la cuarentena. Según los científicos, existe un vínculo inextricable entre el aire limpio y la capacidad de una persona para combatir las infecciones. Como saben, el ambiente humano forma la inmunidad, durante muchos años, la contaminación del aire durante una pandemia asegura su rápida propagación y aumenta los efectos. Esperamos que el aire limpio nos ayuda a combatir el virus y que se termine pronto el confinamiento. No nos olvidemos de la fragilidad de nuestra naturaleza, que es nuestro hogar. Como ya ocurrió en China o en Italia, las medidas excepcionales de confinamiento contra el nuevo coronovirus están haciendo que los niveles de contaminación en España caigan intensamente. La concentración de dióxido de nitrógeno en Madrid y Barcelona cae a “mínimos históricos”, según un análisis de Greenpeace. El coronovirus ha mejorado notablemente la calidad del aire en uno de los lugares más ecologicos, Mallorca. La concentración de contaminantes en la isla se ha desplomado un 61 por ciento debido a la drastica reduccion del trafico por el confinamiento para frenar la pandemia.
